From chasing wildlife on a Kenyan safari to conquering the mighty Acatenango Volcano in Guatemala, I've spent two decades cultivating a worldview that fits a globe, not just one location. My life on the move, including teaching English in Vietnam and nearly three years living full-time as a global nomad with my husband, has been anything but ordinary.

Travel is in my DNA. It's a mindset that propelled me to study abroad, work across oceans, and eventually, trade the stability of a permanent address for a multi-year global sabbatical. I loved that we bounced around and experienced the little areas of Lake Atitlan for a few days at a time.
